Fire Engine Visit

The fire fighters from Beeston Fire Station came to visit Foundation Stage today.  They brought their fire engine.  They showed the children all the safety equipment and clothing they need when they are called out for an emergency and dressed some of the grown ups in class up as a fire-fighter.  They talked to the children about safety at bonfire night and gave the children leaflets with important safety advice on.  The children loved exploring the fire engine and have been imagining themselves as fire-fighters in our outside learning area.
