During mental health week we looked at ways to look after our mental well being.
Each week we like to light our meditation candle. We learn new breathing practices such as 'the balloon', 'finger thumb breathing' or Darth Vader breathing, which help calm our mind and emotions.
We then practice mindfulness, sometimes Miss James tells us a mindfulness story or we focus on the candle learning to focus and strengthen our mind. To finish our session we work as a team to blow the candle out.
