Be A Farmer Day

The children in Birch and Chestnut class had a Be a Farmer day today as follow up from their trip to Manor Farm recently.  The children had a list of jobs they had to read and carry out including sweeping the pig pen, collecting the eggs from the hens and driving the tractor.  They tasted a variety of foods including goats cheese, yoghurt and egg mayonnaise.  They made butter from cream and made their own flavoured milk shakes and washed up!  They looked fabulous in their farmer costumes and what a lot they learnt about the workings of a farm.  Well done everyone!
