Instructions in Year 2

This week we are writing instructions in Year 2.  Today we played the back to back game.  We had to work with a partner to build a lego model and give our partner instructions so they could make exactly the same model without looking at ours.  It was really difficult and we learnt that we have to be very clear in our instructions and say exactly where to put each lego brick.

During the week we will be learning about imperative verbs (these are bossy verbs that tell us a command or order) and then using these to read and write instructions.
