Today we found a building site of straw, sticks and bricks in our classroom. There was much discussion among the children who decided that the three pigs must have been building houses and been disturbed by the big bad wolf!
The children worked in groups to make a story story river using collage materials, small world characters and drawings which told the story of what might have happened to the three pigs and the wolf. Many children decided to change their bad character to a polar bear, a giraffe and even a big bad Ted! They also created alternative endings to their stories.
We were really impressed by how well they worked as part of a group and the story rivers they created. Well done Year 2!
